• Hi there,

I’ve made a website with two languages, with Polylang and Blocksy. So far it worked fine, but when I enable browser detection the first homepage (default language) is not being cached, therefore it loads slow compared to other pages. I’m using the plugin WP-optmize which works great except the homepage.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve already it to fix via the theme, but it seems the issue is in Polylang itself.

    Kind regard

    Hello,

This is what you can read as description of the option in your Polylang settings:

When the front page is visited, redirects to itself in the browser preferred language. As this doesn’t work if it is cached, Polylang will attempt to disable the front page cache for known cache plugins.

When your page is cached, WordPress is not executed, so Polylang cannot act to redirect your visitor to the home in the preferred language. That’s why the option is not compatible with cache. SO you have to make a choice.
