Same here but from version 7.2.1 to 7.2.2, and that version does not exist in the changelog:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/trunk/changelog.txt
I would assume this was a security patch released silently to outdated versions, as it appears, according to this reply https://wordpress.org/support/topic/was-a-forced-update-to-7-4-2-pushed-out/#post-16939875, which is related to yet another version patch.
I would suppose they did not publish the release in the changelog to avoid exploits until they know all vulnerable versions are updated.
Hey there!
We recently made some improvements to the security in our WooCommerce Stripe plugin just to make sure everything stays safe and secure. We actually sent you a message about this back on August 3, so it may be waiting in your inbox.
And just to put your mind at ease – we don’t know of any cases where this issue has caused any problems. We just fixed it to be on the safe side 🙂
By the way, I noticed that you mentioned that your Stripe plugin updated to version 7.0.3, however, can you please double-check and let me know if it doesn’t show 7.0.4 instead?
