I am playing with GiveWP plugin — need help

    Hi,

    I am evaluating GiveWP plugin for one of our clients donation page.
    I created a stripe account and trying to integrate GiveWP with stripe credit card. Even after i click on donate button in the form after entering user and credit card details, payment with stripe is not happening.

    If i see the reports section under GiveWP in wordpress, the status says pending.
    Can anyone help me here if i am missing something ?

    I need to evaluate this plugin and go for purchasing it if it suits my clients requirements

    Hi there, the donations that are stuck in a “Pending” status are most often caused by a lack of the proper webhook (a mechanism for sending data from Stripe to GiveWP) set in your Stripe account.

    Our documentation on setting up the webhook is here:
    https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/stripe-gateway/#webhooks

    If the webhook is correctly configured, you should see a record in the logs at Donations > Tools > Logs > Stripe for every event at Stripe (going forward).
    You’ll need to manually go through and mark the older ones as complete, using your Stripe account to cross-reference.

    Double-check that webhook and let us know if you need anything else.

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for your quick response.
    There was a misconfiguration with webhook and it got resolved after reconfiguring it.

    Now i am getting below error while makind donations with Testing mode enabled with stripe under the “Payment Gateways” in the plugin.

    Error is: Stripe doesn’t currently support application fees for platforms in US with connected accounts in IN.

    Under General settings I have set “base country” as “India” and “currency” is set as “Indian Rupee” under “currency” section of “General Settings”
