@rfmcomposer did you resolve this issue? I have the same problem and I’ve pinned it down to the Yoast SEO plugin as the issue disappears when it is deactivated. I’m awaiting to hear back from Ninja Forms on this issue so will let you know when I hear more.

@rfmcomposer if you use the shortcode to add the form to the page it fixes the issue. The problem seems to be with appending the form to the page.

@seepops No, I didn’t resolve the issue. I contacted Ninja Forms an the response was:

The exposed HTML was the result of a bug in Ninja Forms version 3.8.1 that arose due to a fix for a potential vulnerability. Version 3.8.2 was released immediately to correct it. However, unfortunately a consequence of the patch is that, while the official translations available from translate.wordpress.org should show the red asterisk as expected, manually adding HTML to a custom required fields message is no longer supported, and this regrettably includes custom translations that include HTML. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. We expect to revisit this behavior in the future, but I’m afraid I do not yet have a good estimate with respect to when this functionality might be re-enabled.

And I do use the shortcode, but still have the problem.

Sorry to hear that it didn’t resolved your issue. I hope Ninja Forms finds a solution soon.

@shayleehansen30 I am on version 3.8.3 (multisite) and use the default translation from translate.wordpress.org, but the problem is still showing.

    How can this be fixed?
