HTML code in author bio

    To allow HTML in author biography, I found this code to be included in functions.php
    But now I can use bold tags or links, but I still can not enter the “p” and “br” tags.

    Where are they filtered?

    the code found:

    remove_filter('pre_user_description', 'wp_filter_kses');
add_filter( 'pre_user_description', 'wp_filter_post_kses');
