I’m trying to figure out how to setup an internal communication/messaging system for once someone checks out and purchases something through our WooCommerce store. I’m assuming I should make everyone sign up to be a member before purchasing something, but is this possible?

Not really sure what you have in mind?

Pending you collect the needed information from the customer during checkout, you should have what you need to communicate with them?

Thanks for the reply! I’m looking to essentially sell services on the site. So when someone checks out, I want someone on my team to communicate with the user once the order is complete. I’d rather keep them on my website though so that they can’t offer the services on their own.

    Hi there!

https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/ is a popular free plugin that allows (among other things) private messaging between registered users on a WordPress site.

To obligate customers to open an account when they buy from you, make sure “Enable Guest Checkout” option at WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout isn’t checked.
