    Hello there!

I’ve made changes to my website using WP-STAGING because I didn’t want to edit it right away, the website got an entire design change.

However, when I wanted to push changes, it said it required the PRO version. So I checked out the pricing and I found it way too much for only a push (89 euros). So I’m wondering if there is any option to push changes using the free version, or is there any cheaper option? Thank you for your answer!

    Hi @benjikeyt
Although pushing a staging site to the live site is a Pro feature, we have an extensive guide explaining how you can do that manually, check it here.

The steps mentioned in this guide requires some technical knowledge, and due to the fact that every website has its own structure and configuration, we can’t provide support for manual migrations.

Hello! Thank you for sending this over, I could push changes manually thanks to that. Weird thing is that the live site still says “STAGING” on the top bar and it is still orange, I mean if this does not mean anything I’m perfectly fine with it, just wondering if that is an issue and if it is, can it be fixed?

Hello @benjikeyt, hope all is well with you. I am facing the same problem as you. Did you solve it, did you successfully migrate the website?

@benjikeyt Its seems like you missed the section “Remove database value wpstg_is_staging_site” from the guide.
You can find the “wpstg_is_staging_site” from your database options table and remove it or set it to false. Hope it will fix your issue.

Hi @alaasalama, I have followed the same approach to migrate my staging site to production.

There is something weird after the migration, when I type my site Url in the browser of pc where I did the migration, everything is okay (staging is live). While, the weirdness comes when I type the same url in mobile, other pc, or even in my pc in incognito mode.

How should I proceed to solve this?

@voboghure Thank you, the issue is resolved now and it doesn’t say “STAGING” on the admin tab. Thank you 🙂

My site is live now, however it needs me to login to view the site, and when i do, it show’s the wordpress menu which is something i don’t want my client’s or viewers seeing. How do i fix that? anyone has an idea?
