• I am using Twenty Twenty Four for a few sites. Should I have only one theme installed or should I have atleast two themes? I am so used to that one needs to have atleast one backup theme available. Is this needed any more when using the Site Editor?

Hi @paaljoachim – there’s no reason I can think of that you would need to have a secondary theme installed.

    Hey @jordesign

If I remember correctly the old (a few years ago perhaps?) reason why we had two themes was that if something broke in the first theme then theme 2 would automatically be used instead.

Hey @paaljoachim – that’s a good point. I’d expect that the same backup/fallback theme is still good practice – third-partyblock themes could still have an update or something in the future which caused a similar problem to what you describe. But I wouldn’t expect this to be an issue with any of the default themes (like TwentyTwentyFour)
