I’ve added my Google Analytics account as well as Google optimize to Site Kit. However, when I try to set up a test with Google Optimize, I cannot activate the test, since I get the following error:

Analytics configuration mismatch
All Analytics tracking code on the page must have the same tracker configuration settings. This is important a) if you use Google Tag Manager to fire Analytics hits and hard-coded Analytics + Optimize to deploy Optimize, or b) if you deploy both Analytics and Optimize tags via Tag Manager . If you deploy Optimize via a Tag Manager tag, the best practice is to use the shared Google Analytics Settings variable in Tag Manager, which ensures that your tracker settings match between tags.

The following tracker configuration properties don’t have the same configurations: allowLinker.

How can I make sure this matches? I’m sure I used the same property.

Thanks for opening a support topic.

Can you please confirm did you connect Optimize with Analytics while creating Optimize ID? Site Kit only inserts the snippet & we’d happy to check this for you if you share website URL with us.

Update: You can also contact product experts at Optimize Help Center as they might have more insights about this issue.

I will contact the Optimize Help Center as well, but was wondering whether this was a Site Kit thing or not.

I think I got the issue (not yet solved, but..): this is a site running on a sub domain. This seems to interfere with the tracking code for the main domain.

Edit: this is not the issue.
