The calendar was set up and working well for many years. Not sure what happened (may have been user error), but now only one event is showing on the grid view (though there are four published that should display for this month), and the one that is showing is free floating in a bubble and not connected to the actual spot on the calendar where it should be. Help please!

It’s a problem with your theme. In version 3.5, My Calendar modernized its HTML to use article and header to structure event details. This is a standard way of structuring content in HTML. Your theme has custom styles attached to the header element that’s fixing it to a specific position on the page.

This is a poor usage by the theme, because targeting the header element without any specificity only works if there are never going to be any other header elements on the page.

I don’t really have a fix for this; you can revert to My Calendar 3.4.24, or you can contact the theme developer and ask them to improve their code that targets the header positioning so that it is more specific.

Thanks so much Joe. This is really helpful. The theme (Vertikal) has been an issue generally, and I’m not sure I’ll get a timely response from them.

Is there a place on your site where I can get the older version of the plugin?

If you go to the Advanced screen of any plugin page, you can download past versions there.

    Thanks Joe. That worked.
