    hello,

I get FORBIDDEN triangle on checkout page because plugin works only in Germany ? Is it correct ?

But how ridiculous ? You do not even write it clearly on the plugin homepage.

  • At the moment, PayPal Plus is only available for customers having their registered office in Germany.

    It’s in plugin description…

It should be the first line on top. It’s crazy to propose plugins not available for the whole world.

    Hi @cacabe,

It is also mentioned on the PayPal website that is linked in the first sentence of the description.
The plugin itself doesn’t care where you are operating from and the express checkout buttons usually work with any business account. But PayPal Plus is a special service from PayPal for Germany. As a local product, it is not available anywhere else (except for Brazil & Mexico with similar offerings).
If your PayPal account has not been approved for the Plus service, then PayPal won’t deliver the iframe with the payment wall and instead display the “forbidden” message in your checkout.
More information about the service can be found in the PayPal docs: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/regional/de/

For international merchants, PayPal Payments is the new recommended plugin.
Though the PayPal Plus plugin will also be retired in the coming months in favor of PayPal Payments.

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
