    Hi

When someone uses a coupon code to receive a discount, the fee applies to the original price and not the discounted price. How can I fix this?

    Thanks

Hi. No. I couldn’t so I looked for other alternatives because I think the developer of this plugin doesn’t work anymore and the plugin hasn’t been updated in a very long time.

I found some free and paid options. A lot of the free options didn’t live up to my expectations so I bought this plugin: https://www.thedotstore.com/woocommerce-conditional-product-fees-checkout/

It has lots of features and options and conditions but you can’t set the fee directly in the product. You have to go to the plugin’s settings and set your fees there. The very good thing is that you can set up fees based on categories, tags and even product variations. In the beginning I was annoyed that I couldn’t set them in the product itself but after a while, I got used to it.

In the beginning I had the same issue with the coupons not changing the fee but I emailed them and they made a custom version of the plugin for me in a very short time and they sent it back to me.

I recommend checking it out. It would be nice to find something as the same features but free or cheaper but so far, this is the best option I have found.

    I hope that helps.

    Wow, thanks a lot sir!

It’s quite funny to see that a wordpress member answer it’s better and faster than the plugin suppor team.

If I find a tweak code to achieve that or a free plugin, I will post it here for other people. I also will take a look into that premium plugin.

Thank you again! Have a nice day 🙂

Thanks. Please share if you find something working well but cheaper or even free. If you manage to fix a tweak for the code, that would be super cool.

    Thanksssss

Sorry, coupon discounts aren’t currently applied to fee amounts. Coupons do have the ability to remove fees entirely though, which would solve this problem you had: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fee-on-top-of-a-100-discount-coupon/

Opened a feature request here: https://github.com/WPprodigy/woocommerce-product-fees/issues/50

If anybody wants to contribute to the plugin, or have a hired developer do it and open a PR, I’d be happy to review and merge 🙂
