ESI is messing with Elementor’s “Edit with Elementor” button

First of all, this has already occurred in the past:

Elementor adds an “Edit with Elementor” button to the admin bar.
It was working fine with LSCache 4.4.5 in one of my sites, while the updated ones had the button already missing. After upgrading LSCache to 4.4.7, the button disappeared also in this site. Disabling ESI fixes the issue.
Now, what can be done so that we can still have ESI enabled without this button disappearing?
