• Hello, I have been having the same error in three different sites I am the admin, all with the 6.5.4 version of wordpress, with different plugins and themes.

Every 24 hours the three websites have a downtime, and present the following error message:

[11-Jun-2024 11:49:00 UTC] PHP Warning: require(/home2/carlo425/public_html/transite/wp-includes/html-api/class-wp-html-processor.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/carlo425/public_html/transite/wp-settings.php on line 260 [11-Jun-2024 11:49:00 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required '/home2/carlo425/public_html/transite/wp-includes/html-api/class-wp-html-processor.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php82/root/usr/share/pear') in /home2/carlo425/public_html/transite/wp-settings.php:260

When this happens, I lose access to the admin panel, and the only way to recover it is by reinstaling wordpress manually via FTP. I already tried re-uploading the file, but it doesn’t work. The site gets back online, and after 24 hours it happens again.

  • If this happens after some specific time repeatedly then your sites might be affected by some malware. You should check everything and run a malware detection test. Make sure all plugins and themes are updated to their latest version.

Can you please clarify if all three websites are hosted on same hosting? or you are using different hosting for each website?

@jyb1603 running a check on virustotal, two of the websites don’ t have any issues, and one of them has an unrelated CRDF issue (in an image)

@devmuhib all of them are hosted in hostgator, in the same host, but I have other pages in the same host that are working correctly
