I’ve been using the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin to update old posts. I use Rewrite and Republish and republish with a current date.

My email subscribers get an email every time I publish a post. What I just realized is that the link to the post in the email is sending the subscriber to a 404 not found on the republished posts. (But not for new content) I’ve been fixing the slug when I rewrite, so that it remains as the old url.

Is there a way to fix this issue?

I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

    Hi @colleendenise ,
we’re sorry for the problem you are experiencing.
We’re looking into that, can you tell us if you noticed that it started after updating JetPack, and if so, do you know to which version?
Thanks in advance, we’ll keep you updated!

    Hi Enrico,

Thanks so much for looking into this. I did not notice if it started after it started updating JetPack. I actually don’t know how long it’s been happening. I only noticed it because I switched email services from AWeber to ConvertKit and was checking to make sure subscribers were still getting emails for new posts.
