Thanks for the positive MLA feedback and for your report. Thanks as well for the screenshot; very helpful.

I am not able to reproduce the first-row problem on my system, although I remember something like this happening a few years ago. Elementor adds many CSS Styles to the window, e.g., the width 100% style that results in the huge Terms Search button. I will investigate further and see what I can do to clean things up, although CSS is not my strongest skill.

One question – if you click on the “Search” button in the upper-right part of the screen, does the problem go away?

    Hello again!

Sorry I didn’t get a notification about your answer. Late reply.

No the grey box covering the first line of images are still there, after I clicked search.

(By the way, feature request, if possible, add “enter” key for the search button; you write your search terms and hit enter key, and oh right, grip the mouse and click 🙂 )

Thanks for your update with the answer to my question and the feature request. I have made some CSS changes which restored the button sizing on my system. It is conceivable that this fix will also eliminate the first row problem. I have also found a way to make the Enter key work on the search media text box.

I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20240527 that includes the fixes. You can find step-by-step instructions for using the Development Version in this earlier topic:

How to download & install the current development version of MLA

Once the Development Version is installed you can retest the Elementor Insert Media popup window appearance and the search media fix.

The enhancement will be part of my next MLA version, but in the interim it would be great if you could install the Development Version and let me know how it works for you. Thanks for alerting me to these MLA defects.

That did it, sir! Problem gone. And I don’t have to guess the images on the first line, only showing some 40 px of the bottom part. And the enter key working too!

    Thank you very much, sir.
    Magnus
