Display category with colour

    Hi there

    I’m trying to display the category with the colour rather than the event title changing colour. Both on the main events page, and on the single events.

    Any ideas?

    Also, were you able to add the category already in your calendar? If not, please see this knowledgebase article on how to add the category in List view.

    @sensiblebee can you provide a image or screenshot of what you are seeing and why you wish to see?

    It is really the title of the event that is colored according to the category of the event. That’s how the plugin works.

    Hi Andy

    I do understand that the plugin is setup to change the title colour. It’s just that we regularly find that this isn’t what our clients want. They want the category title to show and for that to be the category colour, not the title.

    So, I’m trying to work out the best way to achieve this for both this and future websites.

    Unfortunately that’s not how the plugin is designed. You would need to somehow target the CSS selector of that item and I’m not certain it actually has the appropriate selectors.

    Also, what happens when the category isn’t displayed in the event? The title is always displayed.
