    🙁 I will say:
    Dismiss Notice does not work
I use the theme Twenty Fifteen on my page. The advertising banner cannot be switched off here.
    Greetings, Chuck

Same problem here on another theme… in the back office I cannot dismiss the following message :
“Make sure your website complies with the latest cookie consent laws”
it appears on all page and the dismiss notice doesn’t seems to work

    Same here with Avada theme.

    Same with Astra Theme.

    It should work just fine.
But that type of bahavior points to a javascript issue in your WP backend.

Please try visiting different admin pages, maybe the error is only on a specific page.
Ale please check your browser console for any info and let us know.

    Same with Piko Construct Theme.

Cookie notice doesn’t appear on the website page when I insert directly the address of the main page without the “https” (as well as the website is given as “insecure”), but if I click on any link on the page/website or insert the address with the “https” it will work just fine (and the website is set as “secure”).

Any ideas on how to correct this?

Also, the admin notice message about “Make sure your website complies with the latest cookie consent laws” doesn’t go away, like other users complain as well.

I found the solution. In my case, ironically, I had to disable the Chrome extension “I don’t care about cookies”.

Then, after reloading the page, “Dismiss Notice” works as expected.

Yes, that’s it. 🙂 Thank you.

    Yes, it worked! Thank you!

I suggest the two developers to have a talk.

I’ll try to drop a line to the other guy.
