Sorry to hear you ran into this. We haven’t seen any similar reports with 6.1.1 – could you please confirm if there are any errors logged?
These errors would usually be logged to the wp-content/debug.log file if you have WP_DEBUG_LOG enabled, or they might be in your server or hosts PHP error log.
Also, could you please let me know the WordPress and PHP version that you’re seeing this on?

6.1.0 also the same error. This morning Wordfence found vulnerability in ACF, so i did the update, then all this happened. I’m currently downloading 6.0.7.

Following further follow up on via our support system, we’ve determined this issue was caused by a file system permissions error which prevented WordPress being able to download and unzip ACF 6.1 correctly.
If you have similar issues, please contact your web hosting provider.
