Did you explicitly do something like this in your theme?
add_theme_support(
'service_worker',
array(
'wp-site-icon' => false,
'wp-custom-logo' => true,
'wp-custom-background' => true,
'wp-fonts' => true,
)
);
If so, then remove that code. These integrations have been deprecated for awhile.

Nope. There’s nothing like that in the theme files.
The theme is Avada, if it matters.

Thank you, @westonruter . It shows in the parent theme. So I guess I’ll need to create a function in the child theme to override this.
// Add support for service-worker.
add_theme_support( 'service_worker', true );
Or rather just add a plugin that does something like:
add_action( 'after_setup_theme', static function () {
remove_theme_support( 'service_worker' );
} );
The specific action used would depend on when Avada registers does its add_theme_support()
call.

Understood, @westonruter. Thank you for the tip.
