    I don’t know if they are visible by looking at the code on the page or not, but I had to fix the comments in html here. I don’t know whether this was an artifact of the plugin or the conversion by WP. I thought I’d mention it.

    < was converted to &lt; and > was converted to &gt;

    It was resolved when you read my original post. If I can figure out a solution, I’ll add to the fork.
