    Hi there!

I’m Joshua with Automattic and work on WordPress.com and Jetpack.com.

We’ve identified that, starting at around version 5.182 of cleantalk-spam-protect, a conflict with Jetpack was introduced.

It appears this causes the site to block incoming WordPress.com and Jetpack connection attempts. The sites themselves still believe they are connected to Jetpack but Jetpack cannot communicate with it — breaking many features.

This impacts self-hosted Jetpack-connected sites, sites attempting to use certain WooCommerce.com features, and sites hosted at WordPress.com. For WordPress.com-hosted sites, this can prevent admin management of the site and more.

I’ve sent an email over with this information as well along with an offer to help test on WordPress.com.
