I was trying to re-order product fields list and the only way I found is changing the date of the “post”. After changing date, I realized that if you enter a “future” date, the field dissapears. No way to come back if you delete your browser history.

Then I was thinking how to order the position of these fields, I’ve tried some plugins like post type order or ACF, but, no luck. As you say in description, this plugin does not work with ajax. Then, that’s why I ask, how is possible to change field’s position of these fields in product fields?

    Thank you.

    Hi @jlgonzalezdiaz

You’re right: reordering the fields happens by changing the published date, just like with WordPress posts. About the future date: did you perhaps change the post status to “scheduled” instead of “published”?

    Hello,

thank you for your quick response.

I have to say that I just change only date, not status, just changed the publish date 2 hours into the future.

So I guess there’s no other choice to change their position but changing date.

    Thank you in advance!.

Yes. It’s on our to-do list to add a “order” field so it is easier but for now, the published date should do :). Do not set it into the future, but set it to maximum “now” and then the other ones into the past as they will be displayed underneath.
