Hi there,
Thanks for contacting us! I checked and can see two issues with your website which may be preventing the Jetpack connection from working correctly
SSL certificate
The SSL (HTTPS) certificate installed on your site is not working correctly, because of this the content of the site is not loading properly. You can check the issue with the SSL certificate here https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/index.html
To get issue fixed please contact your webhost support.
Jetpack Plugin
Once the SSL issue is fixed please delete Jetpack and then reinstall it as a first step here? You can follow these steps to do that:
- Start at Plugins → Installed Plugins.
- If Jetpack is currently active, click Deactivate to disable it. Then click Delete to remove it from your site:
- Go to Plugins → Add New.
- Search for “Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth”.
- Click Install and then Activate.
When Jetpack is installed, click the green Set up Jetpack button to reconnect.
This handy guide explains that process in more detail:

You shouldn’t lose any settings or any of your stats or subscribers in doing so, as that info is stored in our system here.
Best,
Hello Gaurav. Thank you so much for trying to help me. My host provider fixed the SSL Certificate issue. I followed your instructions just as you said. I did not see a “green” Set up Jetpack button, but I did see a black on on the Jetpack page accessed through the WordPress menu at left. After clicking the Set up Jetpack button, I got “An error occurred. Please try again.”
Should I uninstall and reinstall WooCommerce? Thank you for your help.

That’s the right button indeed! Once you go to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard and follow the prompts, you’ll be able to connect your site to your WordPress.com account.
After clicking the Set up Jetpack button, I got “An error occurred. Please try again.”
I’m afraid your site’s SSL setup may still be part of what’s causing the issues. While the SSL certificate appears valid, your site is not set to use HTTPS yet. If you go to Settings > General in your dashboard, you’ll see that your site’s address and WordPress address are not set to use HTTPS.
I’ve made some changes on our end to try to work around your setup. Could you try to click on the Setup button in the Jetpack menu once again?
If that doesn’t help, I would recommend that you reach out to your hosting provider once again, and ask them if they can help you update your site configuration so it always uses HTTPS.
Let us know how that goes!
Hello @seaholm,
Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
