Bad styling & translation

    I’m not very happy at the moment. The styling within the checkout is not good. Instead of the word “PayPal” I would like to just show the PayPal icon as payment method selector. The same way like for credit cards. Also, when I enter a title for the credit cards like “Kreditkarten” and switch the site language to English using WPML, I still see the german title. This can be changed by support WPML string translations which is important!

    You can easily add a gateway icon using a code snippet available on our GitHub page: WooCommerce PayPal Payments – Adding a Gateway Icon.

    We are also working on an advanced feature for customizing payment methods, including titles, descriptions, and icons. This feature is expected to launch in Q2 2024.

    As for the translation issue, it stems from WPML not recognizing the custom fields used by PayPal Payments for certain elements like the method title.

    Hi,

    thank you! This works very well. Now, we only have the issue left regarding Apple & Google Pay. Hopefully we get this to work as well. Good support, thanks!
