Application down after clicking activate

    When i clicked activate plugin, i lost the ability to enter admin panel. The app is entirely down.

    Error: “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”

    WP version: 5.3.4
    Login url: domain/wp-admin/

    Also worth mentioning, SSH and FTP works.

    Hmm removed the file folder in wp-content/plugins/ and i can login again, seems I cant use this plugin.

    I am experiencing this same issue on an AWS Apache server. From what it seems after performing a chmod 000 on the plugin directory WordPress seems to be trying to load both the underscores named file and the dashes named file. Looks like there was same file naming change at one of the versions and a bandaid of having 1 file refer to the other was used. This causes complete breakdown of the WordPress dashboard by doing this. I was forced to roll back to an earlier version.

    Not having the same issue here, but the two similarly named files confuse worpdress which sees two different indipendent plugins.
    Removing the smaller (relay) on fixed that.
