I had someone email me today to tell me that every time they tried to comment they received the message “Invalid Security Token” I had someone I know try and they got the same message. I turned off the plug-in and they could comment. I am running Ashe theme and tried using Jetpack plug-in and WordPress commenting.

I don’t want to have to turn off comments or my antispam. Is there anything I can do?

    Hi @melsalvador5

there is no error message “Invalid Security Token” in Antispam Bee, so this comes from another plugin or theme feature.

Do you use the Jetpack comments module? This is not compatible with Antispam Bee.

Do you use the free or the Pro version of the Ashe theme? Does it contain any security features?

I have searched for this term and found only 6 plugins with it in the official plugin directory:

Do you have one of them installed?

Maybe there is a plugin conflict with our plugin.

If we find the culprit I am sure we can fix it! 🙂

I assume you used “Fluent Comments” which is also a AntiSpam plugin which conflicted with us.

As there is no reply for some days now, I think this is already sorted out and therefore I mark this as resolved.

If your problem is not solved, please reply again and mark as unresolved and we will try to help you further. (Please provide answers to my questions above in this case!)

I’m having the exact same problem! I use the free version of Ashe theme, no jetpack comment module. The “invalid security token” goes away when I turn anti spam bee off.

@sassypapercrafts Please open a new thread for your question. Although it looks like the same issue, it could be not and we only have one “Resolved” status. Thank you!
