    When AMP is activated on a site running Gutenberg 17.3 or higher, image-related blocks (Image, Gallery, Cover, Media & Text, etc) will render in the editor as “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”.

    Console log shows:

    We have created a pull request which resolves the issue, it’s currently under test however you can download the patched version from comment for the moment before the new version it’s released.

    Download the production build, it will give you a zip file

    Go to Dashboard->Plugins->Add New -> Upload and upload the zip file and activate it.

    We’ve recently fixed the conflicts with the Gutenberg plugin for adding images (media elements) in the latest version (2.5.2).

    To resolve this issue on your site, please ensure you’ve updated your AMP plugin to the latest version.

    You can easily do this by going to Dashboard > Plugins > AMP > Update
