    I have one subscription product. When I am trying to purchase it on the check-out page, when I click on the PayPal button, it redirects to the PayPal site, which is fine, but after the PayPal site, it redirects me to the check-out page, and on the checkout page, when I click on the confirm button, it redirects to the thank-you page.
    But when I click on PayPal (checkout page), it should redirect to the PayPal page, and from the PayPal page, I should redirect to the Thank You page and not check out again for confirmation.

    The described behavior occurs when the plugin is using PayPal Vaulting for subscriptions, and the subscription has a free trial period.
    The current Vaulting version implemented by the plugin does not support zero-sum payments, so the plugin has to employ a workaround as described here in the documentation.
    PayPal is working on a new Vaulting version that natively supports “Vault without purchase”, which will help streamline zero-sum subscription payments when using Vaulting.

    That being said, the new PayPal Subscriptions feature added in the latest update will be improved with the following update(s). A bug in the current version results in free-trial subscriptions using the PayPal Vaulting flow despite having PayPal Subscriptions configured. So if you are testing the new PayPal Subscriptions feature, this may be what’s causing your buyer to be forwarded to the PayPal website. Without Reference Transactions, this process likely would fail.
    If you want to use PayPal Subscriptions for free-trial subscriptions, the issue could be worked around by downgrading to version 2.2.2 and following the setup guide here until a new version is available that results in the PayPal Subscriptions feature being used for free trial subscription products.
    Alternatively, the issue can be worked around by adding a small sign-up fee to the subscription product, so that the checkout total is above 0.
