The Mire is the southernmost region of Velen.
The northern area is heavily forested, with some inhabited villages. Most of the region centers around Lake Wyndamer, in which lies Fyke Isle in the middle of the lake. The southern part of the region is mostly uninhabited, consisting of bogs, ruined villages, and monsters.
