Stonecutters' Settlement, also known as Holloway is a mostly-walled village in Velen, located just outside of Oxenfurt, that was under the protection of the Redanian army. While villagers here mined stone, the army also brought in Nilfgaardian prisoners of war to help with production.
As Redanians later[2] moved out of the village, exploitation of the inhabitants labor ceased, but they were preyed on by local bandits.

- Over twenty years ago a certain Bartolomeo, known as "Badger" on account of certain characteristics aspects of his coiffure, discovered a rich deposit of high-quality stone on this spot. He bought the land for a song, then leased it back to local peasants before heading off to Kovir, where he lives the life of a rich and powerful townsman to this day.
