Senate (Nilfgaard)

The Senate is a governmental assembly of the Nilfgaardian Empire. Its seat is located in the capital with a large staircase that's used for speeches leading up to it. It's more than likely that in earlier years the Senate played a significant role in Nilfgaardian politics. By the 12th century, however, the Empire was already an absolute monarchy led by the hereditary Emperor and role of the Senate became merely ceremonial.^[1]
