Massy was a Nilfgaardian lieutenant who served in the company under the command of Captain Drugan. He was stationed alongside the captain and the rest of the company in the village of Vorune in No Man's Land. Whilst Drugan and his men were terrorising the hamlet and subjugating its residents, Massy appeared reluctant to take part. He was also far more accommodating than his superior when Geralt and Vesemir passed through the village during their search for Yennefer.
Later, he accompanied Drugan, the rest of the company and the two witchers during the hunt for the fiend that had been plaguing the local area. Perhaps in exchange for his earlier approachability and helpfulness, Geralt took Massy aside when the fiend was baited into attacking the captain and the rest of the company and Vesemir also saved the man's life when the creature turned on him.[1]
