Malliq[1] is a title belonging to the overlords of Ofir. It is sometimes translated as "king", but since Ofir encompasses several petty empires, kingdoms, and tribes with their own rulers[2] it is maybe not the most faithful translation.
There is a unique rule, concerning a malliq's concubines; women are allowed to have an intimate relationship with another man if the malliq allows it, but if a concubine has a relationship with another man without the malliq's permission, then that concubine must be punished.[1]
