Ludovic was the first human king of Toussaint. He was described as shrunken and ugly as the night after Saovine.[1]
Biography[]
In 781, Ludovic and his armies followed the fleeing elven king Divethaf, in order fo make the monarch surrender and proclaim Ludovic as the rightful ruler. After a subsequent battle and torture, the elf surrendered and agreed to pay homage and give Ludovic a statue each year. However in 782, before homage was to be renewed, the humans decided to celebrate the anniversary with a pogrom, during which Divethaf and his remaining soldiers were killed. Thus the human rule over Toussaint was consolidated.[1]
Notes[]
- A cut content letter mentions Ludovic Square, presumably one of the several unnamed squares in Beauclair that might be named after the historic king.
