Kleiner was a private in the Royal Redanian Army. In 1272, he served alongside Lance corporal Vatslav, as a guard for the Borsodi Brothers' Auction House.
Unlike his superior though, he liked to make jokes, though this didn't go unnoticed by Vatslav who would send the private marching for his "insolence".
