Herodore was one of the members of the Olgierd's Wild Ones, officially known as Redanian Free Company. The same day Geralt and Olgierd von Everec met, Herodore and the others were celebrating his new saber at Garin Estate, a manor they'd all but taken over from its owner.
However, the estate's lord, having enough of this, refused any further hospitality to the Wild Ones and demanded they leave. In response to this and without permission from Olgierd, Herodore murdered the lord. Displeased with Herodore's action, Olgierd ordered the rest of the Wild Ones to behead him for violating the Redanian Free Company's chivalric code. Herodore was then taken outside to be beheaded by his former comrades.
If Geralt intervenes and saves him: Geralt stepped in and challenged Olgierd to a fight to the death to save Herodore, eventually besting the Wild Ones' leader. As promised, Olgierd released Herodore.
If Geralt doesn't intervene or doesn't save him: Herodore summarily met his end as the Wild Ones cut off his head.
