The Great Temple of the Eternal Fire is one of the nineteen[1] temples of Eternal Fire in Novigrad. It is linked with the market square by Main Street.[2]

The temple is also known for the sarcophagus of Prophet Lebioda, whose remnants are sometimes brought out of the coffin to be kissed by worshipers during some holidays.[2]

Wiedźmin: Gra Wyobraźni[]

Built of marble, the Great Temple of the Eternal Fire, commonly nicknamed as Grand Picket, lies in the center of the city. Before it had been the elven mansion and was extended by human settlers.

According to a legend, when the first colonists were visiting the abandoned town, they saw a strange glow emanating from one of palaces. Inside they met an individual sitting near the great bowl of fire. Upon being asked who he was, he answered: I guard the Eternal Fire; as long as it will flame in this place, so long this city and your kin will endure - and then he disappeared.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt[]

The Temple is located on the Temple Isle near Electors Square. Though it dominates the view of Novigrad, the interiors are inaccessible.
