Egon was a king of Lyria in the 1150s. He had twin daughters, Impecca and Rigoberta, who married heirs of the Cerbins.

Biography[]

At some point before 1156, Egon received King Coram I and his younger brother Ceran and held a feast at the royal palace. During their stay in Lyria, the two fell in love with Egon's daughters and married them shortly after.

While Coram returned to Cintra with his new wife, Ceran stayed in Lyria. After Egon's death, the crown was passed to Impecca and Ceran who introduced the Cintran lion into the coat of arms of Lyria.[1]

Notes[]

  • In Rivia there is a road named after him.
