A crow is a type of night bird that inhabits the Continent. They usually fly in flocks and they can often be encountered in forests or near battlefields and war sites, where they can easily feed on corpses.
Being a very intelligent bird species, they can sometimes learn basic human words and they are often used as messengers. Some humans and Higher Vampires have even learned the bird's language and use them as spies.
In Skellige, crows are worshiped by the Crow Clan.
Heraldry[]
The crow is often used in heraldry. It is, for instance, present in the coat of arms of the House of Ademeyn, Clan Brokvar, and the Crow Clan.
