Castle Tuirseach

Castle Tuirseach on Mount Aardeklove was once a great fortress rivaling Kaer Trolde citadel in both size and prestige. Yet, all that remains of the fortress by present events is a ruin on the north coast of An Skellig. For many centuries, the castle served as the seat of Clan Tuirseach. It was destroyed after bandits and Nilfgaardian bounty hunters paid by Nilfgaard besieged the castle with catapults intending to kill Jarl Torgeir the Red. Castle Tuirseach crumbled and fell into ruin bringing down with it the jarl along with his men and the witcher Gerd.
