Bitter, Evil Hearts was a ballad composed by Dandelion about an adventure of his friend Geralt of Rivia. It told about a hassle at Kaer Morhen when Deidre Ademeyn, bound to Eskel by the Law of Surprise, sought aid. The bard had premiered it at a tavern in the Northern Kingdoms sometime after the Great War of 1268.[1]
