Astrogarus was the royal astrologer of King Radowit II.
Biography[]
Seeing the School of the Cat and School of the Wolf taking more power, Astrogarus and Radowit planned a tournament between the schools, with the goal of a massacre of the Wolf witchers.
Later, Astrogarus met with the Cats and watched them train with their deputy leader Guxart, impressed by their skill and endurance.
A week later the tournament began, attended by Astrogarus and the king. Noticing the witchers Geralt of Rivia and Gweld were becoming suspicious, Astrogarus suggested to the king that they accelerate the plan, and in doing so, the king asked the mage to force Gweld into killing Geralt. Astrogarus put a spell on Gweld, who was forced into lunging at his fellow witcher, who had no choice but to kill him. Seeing this, Astrogarus screamed for the Cats to attack the Wolves, which led to a massacre with Geralt being the only survivor.[1]
