Armor of Ysgith can be looted from a locked chest in the northernmost part of Loc Muinne sewers during Chapter III, or crafted using the appropriate diagram.

This armor is also used during the creation of Vran armor as a crafting component. If, however, you put Geralt's talents into the Magic skill tree, you may want to think twice about upgrading the Armor of Ysgith, since the Vran armor increases resistances, armor and vitality and thus leans more towards sword combat, while the Armor of Ysgith increases Magic resistance, Vigor, Vigor regeneration and damage bonus on Signs and thus leans more towards magical combat.
