The Allenker sound is a bay on the Skellige archipelago. It shares the name with islets located in this sound.[1] Crabs are said to live at the bottom of the sound.[2]

- On the fan-made Ortelius Map, the Allenker separates Spikeroog from the rest of the archipelago. It is likely based on the fact that a sound in this location is indeed mentioned in The Tower of the Swallow, but because its name isn't mentioned, its identification with the Allenker Sound mentioned in The Last Wish remains only a speculation.
