The reason the bamboo dish brush looks a bit sad is because it is about 2 years old. It has held up amazingly well and still does a great job scrubbing. To my dismay, my son used it recently on his pickup floor mats to get clean (he is in construction so it wasn’t just a light job) and smashed the bristles out with his vigorous scrubbing. Needless to say, I don’t want to use this on my kitchen dishes anymore and so am purchasing another one. This will be the third one I have purchased in about 4-5 years. I used to go through the regular types of dish brushes that you buy at WalMart or Target about every 3 months because the bristles would ware out so quickly or distort and smash down. This is definitely worth the purchase and lasts 10xs longer than most. And it looks nicer in my kitchen :-)

I was having trouble getting my cast iron clean with the chain mail cleaner. I decided to give this a try. It is wonderful. It gets my pans clean with none of the black residue I was having left behind. I also use it in our wok and it cleans it well also.

Nice scrub brush, perfect size for scrubbing out cast iron cookware without detergent. Only issue is that I wish the handle was angled a little more, for more clearance when scrubbing out a frying pan or dutch oven. Other than that, the stiff bristles do a good job of removing stuck-on food without removing the pan's seasoning. I've also used it to scrub the top of my old kitchen stove - it works great removing burnt food particles and remains of boilovers.

We really like this brush. I got my original one 4 years ago and it held up great until one day my husband scrubbed really hard with it and the top broke off from the handle. We liked it so much better than others and it’s cheaper that we got another one.

The wooden handle is comfortable and easy to hold so you can really get in their with the scrubbing. The flat plastic side at the top of the scrubber makes scraping out caked and baked on food easy. The bristles are a stiff but flexible plastic which in my opinion makes it better than the Lodge brush. They are stronger and better able to get a good clean cast iron vs the bristles on the Lodge brush feel TOO soft and dense. The bristles on this brush are spread out in bunches which makes it less like to get gunked up with grease and debris and it’s easier to clean.

We use two different scrub brushes for doing dishes: this one for cast irons only and another for all the other dishes. In the 4 years we had our original scrub brush, the bristles are still nearly as good as our brand new one.

I have used all kinds of scrapers for my cast iron pans. I even have the silver mesh chain they sell for cast iron pans. But THIS brush puts everything else to shame. It makes clean up a breeze. I especially like how it gets the crease where the cooking surface meets the sides of the pan. That was the part that was the hardest to clean with a scraper. The handle is sturdy enough that you can put a lot of elbow grease into cleaning your pans. The bristles are nice and firm with just the right amount of "give" in them.
ALSO, I thought I would pass along this tidbit that I learned on a homesteading site... You can 100% use dish soap to clean your cast iron. I know, I know...that breaks the greatest commandment of using cast iron pans. But I tried it and it's absolutely TRUE!! After cleaning, put the DRY pan on a stovetop burner on high heat. When the pan first starts to put off the tiniest bit of smoke, remove it from the burner and put a little bit of bacon grease on it. Let it sit for a minute and then wipe out the bacon grease completely with a lint-free cloth. You would swear the pan had just been seasoned five times in the oven. It looks good as new. And this is from someone who exclusively cooks with cast iron.

Leider sind die Borsten dieser Bürste viel zu hart. Für das Spülen von Geschirr kaum geeignet. Die Hersteller haben wohl selber nie ausprobiert, damit mal Geschirr zu reinigen. Bei Töpfen mit Beschichtung hat man fast Angst, das diese zerstört wird.
Leider habe ich sie ausgepackt und sofort die Etiketten entfernt, zurückgeben ist also nicht, aber diese Bürste kaufen wir nie wieder und raten auch davon ab.
