Had no antenna for my sony bravia tv. Got this and it instantly detected 88 channels in the Portland Maine area. 70 of them are perfect signal. About 10 of those are full HD. There are some with grainy or spotty channels, not many, but they are channels I don't care about. I have NBC, ABC and CBS now for free.

This was an Amazon prime opened box purchase. I suggest getting it. No point to buty new. All that it comes with is a pad, a splitter and cable. No need to buy new

I live in greater Nashville, TN. The antenna picked up an impressive 91 channels (which includes LG TV channels). The long coax cable gives you plenty of options for placing the antenna in an optimal spot. The antenna delivers sharp and vibrant images. Most of towers are 10 - 20 miles away. It would not pick up PBS whose tower is 29 miles away; however, I hear this a lot from friends that live near by, even those with roof top antennas. You can turn off the amplifier. I found that some channels worked well but others had pixelization issues that weren't an issue with the amplifier on. I did find the right spot was on a wall facing NW. Placing it near or in a window facing SW yielded much fewer channels. I am pleased with the antenna's performance.

I had bougth a cheap antenna to help me decide if cutting the cable was for me. It was adequate but didn't pick up my local Fox and ABC channels which are VHF. I'm in Fort Lauderale, FL and most of the towers for the Miami station are 16 mile away. The Clearstream Flex is picking up all of the major Miami station, UHF and VHF and I'm even getting strong signals from UHF and VHF channels from Palm Beach where the towers are 30 miles away. Please note that antenna placement is critical. Just moving it a foot up or down or right or left can make a world of difference, so be patient and keep scanning for channels to find the optimal location.

Positives and negatives. The negatives - When we rescanned our TV we lost several channels we had with our prior antenna. And, because the coaxial cable isn't very long, we couldn't reposition it much to try to get better reception. Occasionally some of the channels have interference which I hoped this antenna would filter out. I am disappointed with it somewhat since the description said it had long range to pick up many stations in the area. The positives - the picture with this antenna is much improved. It's very clear and sharp. And, we are still able to get all of the national channels. All in all it is a good antenna.
