Sunjoe makes an okay pressure washer. It isn't great, but it isn't bad either. The unit was in multiple pieces when it arrived in the box, and it was very easy to put together. After testing for over 6-months I noticed certain repeat issues. The connections to the garden hose out the front of the machines likes to leak a lot. The high-pressure connection to the sprayer wand is very tight and sometimes gets stuck, and it requires a bit of force to tighten and loosen (and no, its not cross-threaded) that it hurts your hand because of the ridges that they put on the connector to assist with wet-hand grip. More than a few times I've had the skin come off my fingers and palm because of this issue. The tanks for the washing fluids don't get all the way down to the bottom with the cap-attached suction tubes. In the end, to save time and clean-up I found that I'd rather just use my nozzle-end attached foam cannon sprayer. I do love that they spent the extra money to go for a shiny metal finish and all-metal fittings. I really appreciate a quality-made accessory when the rest is all plastic. The pressure washer is good at putting out a high-pressure stream of water. But, if the caked on dead bugs and stuff has been there a while, no amount of spraying it with water from this unit will get it off. So be aware, it's for recently-added dirt and grime. I use mine to pressure wash my car. Pressure washing cars is safe up to 1900 psi.

I purchased this power washer for two purposes: cleaning the vinyl siding on the mildewy north side of my house, and redoing my paver patio.

TL;DR: Great power washer. Does everything I need, no issues, 5*

I purchased an electric power washer, because I did not feel I required the eleventy-billion psi of a gas-powered model. Also, all my other outdoor tools are electric. The unit assembles .. ok. There are two different screws, which I didn't realize because they so close in length. Also, my gun holder doesn't want to snap in place so keeps popping off. Lastly, one of my cleaner "bins".. the lid doesn't want to snap on because of the way the hose fits... B- for fit and finish.

Fit and finish aside, the power washer is great! The electrical cord is super long, which is nice, since you chose to buy an electric model. The noise is honestly not that bad. I feel comfortable using this without hearing protection, especially given the fact that you're generally 10-15 feet away from the motor.

The high-pressure hose is nice... it's 20 feet, which is enough to get me to the top of my ladder. There are non-OEM replacements that are 25 feet... though they're not quite as nice (I bought one).

The five nozzles are great, and a quick-connect fitting on the gun makes them super quick/easy to change. The 2 highest angles are very low pressure ... I'm honestly not sure where you would use them. The 30 deg is low pressure, and if I was worried about, e.g. paint on my care, I would just take a couple of steps back.

The 15 deg nozzle is magic though. I have a screened-in porch that has those soft workout squares. Exposed to the elements they get pretty gross. I typically clean them by hand every once and a while, but hitting it with the 15 deg nozzle and they are almost brand new.

This thing was so magic on my paver patio (both the stones and the sand between) and my vinyl siding.

The only downside I have is that you cannot use cleaner with any of the spray nozzles -- only the "wash nozzle". I'm guessing the manufacturer doesn't want you blasting harsh chemicals at 3000 psi ... but I'd love to be able to throw some cleaner in and use the 0 deg tip to throw some cleaner on my roof / high windows / etc.

I've used this thing at least 8 times now and have had ZERO issues with the motor / pump. So, despite some of the other reviews saying it was broken after X uses, I have not seen this so far. Just follow the directions and empty when you're done.

Awesome product.

p.s. The 15 deg nozzle at 1-2' was enough to gouge my cedar-built Adirondack chair. It's got some juice.

I bought a 1650 psi gasoline model over 15 years ago. It was loud (of course), difficult to start, and complicated to deal with. The engine had to run constantly and was directly connected to the pump, so you couldn't stop running water through it for more than a moment. Why? There was a the risk of overheating the pump (the pump was water-cooled). Generally it was a pain in the butt.

I haven't needed a pressure washer in years, and my gasoline model won't start. I don't really know why, I'm not able to pull the starter very hard any more, and...well...I just don't want to deal with gas engines any more. Thankfully pressure washers have come a long way in the last decade!

Now I didn't know whether to believe the pressure rating on this machine. It's only electrically powered, after all, and my old gas model only made 1650 psi. I'm happy to say that the output of this model is at least equal to my old machine, and most likely significantly greater. I am able to blast dirt, mold, and lichen from further away than expected. In fact, I'm using the second-widest nozzle to clean the bizarre black stuff (that seems to grow all over FL) from my concrete driveway. I have no way of testing the output and no interest in finding out how many gallons per minute it's using. It is very powerful, and that's most consumers need to know. Just be sure to use the recommended size hose for the low pressure water supply (the one from the house faucet).

Some pressure washers are provided with an adjustable nozzle. This one provides several easily attachable, quick connect heads. I'm fine with that because they are safely stowed on board the unit in easily accessible and secure points, and changing nozzles takes just a few seconds. I don't know about the longevity of this strategy versus the adjustable type, but I expect they've been adequately tested. I haven't used cleaner yet, so I haven't used the nozzle designed for that. With this much power there's no reason to mix chemicals into the equation. Pure water and electrical power is about as environmentally-friendly as washing sidewalks can get.

I love the fact that I can start and stop as often as I need. That was a constant pain with my gas model. It does take a second or two for the unit to ramp up to full pressure each time you pull the trigger, and you should pause a second or two between releasing the trigger and pulling it again. I write that only as information for users, not as a critique. The machine works very well; the delays I mention are not noticeable in actual use.

The electric cord is heavy duty and rugged, and protected by its own GFCI (on the large plug) for safety. The high pressure hose is stiff and tough, which is exactly what you need and expect. The hose attachments are secure and I have no leaks. I've read several reviews that complain about leaks and suggest replacing the included parts for metal ones. I don't know if the units have been significantly upgraded since those buyers' units, but I suspect their problems were user error. It's 90% idiot-proof, but there are some high-quality idiots out there! Some people can manage problems with anything (see: all the warning labels on McD's coffee cups!).

Unpacking and assembling the unit was dead simple, quick, and easy. Good instructions are even included, which is a bit of a rarity these days.

As you can see from the pictures Snow Joe provides on the product page, the base has places to hang your cord, your high-pressure hose, and the wand. There is a large power switch on the front that almost seems superfluous. I guess it's a safety feature required for those special people I mentioned above. The wheels are useful when the unit is disconnected from power and water; when in use it's easier just to lift the whole setup and place it where needed. It's quite light weight and both the electrical cord and high-pressure hose are long enough to allow a lot of work to be done without much repositioning of the unit.

I am extremely pleased with this unit. It's relatively quiet, very easy to use, powerful, and convenient! I strongly recommend it!

This is a great machine, easy to use, lots of power. The nozzle selection allows you to change the water stream to match what you are cleaning, and the nozzles are easy to install. The output hose is long which makes for easy use. The cart is good. All around a very good machine, much much better than the ones that I previously bought from the auto supply stores.

4.0 out of 5 stars Roaring Power with a Slightly Muted Buzz: Sun Joe SPX3000 Review
Reviewed in Canada on August 3, 2023
Pattern Name: WasherVerified Purchase
Alright, fellow cleaning aficionados, gather 'round for a tale of grime-busting glory and a touch of foamy disappointment! I recently took the Sun Joe SPX3000 Electric High-Pressure Washer for a spin, and oh boy, does it bring the pressure, but watch out for that soap surprise.

First off, let's talk power. This bad boy packs a whopping 2030 PSI punch and a 1.76 GPM flow that left my car, fences, patios, decks, and sidewalks whimpering for mercy. The five quick-connect tips are like a superhero squad, ready to tailor the pressure for whatever mess I'm facing. And don't even get me started on the satisfaction of blasting away dirt with that high-pressure stream—pure cleaning therapy!

But now, the soap saga. The SPX3000 comes equipped with these cool detergent tanks, primed for sudsing up those stubborn spots. Sounds great, right? Well, here's where the story gets a bit sudsy. The soap application game? Let's just say it's a bit like playing with a soap bubble wand—fun, but not always effective. The soap mix sometimes felt more watered-down than a last-minute lemonade stand. It struggled to give that deep cleansing punch, leaving me needing to play soap chef and pre-treat areas manually before letting the pressure rip.

Now, don't get me wrong. This Sun Joe warrior is a beast when it comes to dirt obliteration. The quick-connect tips are like a switchblade collection for battling grunge, and the maneuverability is smoother than a dance floor. Just be prepared to bring your own soap game if you're in it for the long-haul clean.

In the grand cleaning showdown, the Sun Joe SPX3000 delivers on power, convenience, and the sheer thrill of turning your hose into a dirt-defying cannon. So, if you're willing to forgive a little soap misadventure for the sake of a sparkling kingdom, saddle up, folks. The SPX3000 is ready to roll, grime and all!
