Bristles Quickly Flatten and May Fall Out - 2 tries same thing.
I've tried two of these OXO plastic brushes with white/blue bristles, and in both cases the center bristles flattened within a month. In addition, with the first one, all the bristles fell out of one slot within 2 months. Also and fyi, the hole at the top of the handle doesn't fit properly over a variety of hooks. I like to hang my dish brush on a hook to dry between uses, but that didn't work with this one. By comparison, I had a Casabella brush that held up beautifully, and fit my hook, for 3 years. I think they stopped making that one though. On a positive note, I had a good experience in calling OXO customer service. The call went directly to a rep with no wait, and the gal I spoke with kindly offered to send a replacement. I was hopeful the second one would last longer, but unfortunately the bristles quickly flattened again. OXO usually makes great products, but not this dishwashing brush.November 2023 Update:I decided to reach out to OXO customer service again and ask if they could recommend another brush. As it turned out, the company sent me another blue and white plastic dish brush, and this one seems much studier than the previous two. The bristles are stiffer - quite stiff at first and feeling more comfortable now after a few weeks of use. So in hopes that this one will last, I've added two stars to my rating. And certainly OXO's customer service is first-rate!

This is a fairly heavy duty kitchen brush. The bristles have enough stiffness to do some serious scrubbing, and the handle is comfortable to use. We use ours daily for scraping and getting dishes ready for the dishwasher and the brush is nearly as year old and still in decent shape. The brush head has a scraper edge on top for removing dried or baked on food. It is easy to remove food bits from the bristles by tapping the brush against the side of the sink. Each brush should last for many months depending on use. We have separate extra brush that we use for tough bathroom jobs, like grout, scrubbing around fixtures, etc.

The Oxo Good Grips Kitchen Brush beats all others that I've ever tried. I've bought it for years at my local Fred Meyer store, but suddenly the only Oxo Good Grips kitchen dish brush they're carrying is the kind that has soap stored in the handle. Since I already have something like that, and don't prefer to do a sinkload of dishes with a soapy brush like that, I prefer this one.

When I couldn't find this dish brush at my local store in December, I purchased the "next best thing" I could find. Within one week of normal use, almost all of the bristles were smashed down. Ugh! Since there are no other options in our local stores to find this Oxo Good Grips Kitchen Brush I'm reviewing here, I found the brush on Amazon.com and ordered it through them.

Two months later, this Oxo Good Grips brush shown here is still in excellent, brand-new looking condition, with no bristles smashed down from use.

I hope I can find this brush here for years to come; I usually buy a new one of these about every 10 months. Oh, and something else I shouldn't forget: this particular Oxo Good Grips Kitchen Brush has a unique angle on the handle that is such a natural feel; it really enables me to scrub inside bottles and tall jars with wide enough mouths. With all other dish brushes I've tried, the angle was "wrong" and really forced me to work harder to scrub things out. This is a great product!

I got the new Always Pan Titanium. Its inner surface is patterned. Regular dobie pads don't get seared steak juice out of all the little grooves; this brush makes short work of that. It has a very comfortable grip and washes well in the dishwasher. I've also used it in my InstantPot pot, on steel sheet pans, etc, and it really speeds up the cleaning.

OXO almost never disappoints, and they've done very well with this brush.
