However, while smaller keyboards offer benefits in competitive play, they can sometimes lack critical keys needed by pro players. To address this challenge, Logitech G introduced a solution: Key control technology.

Developed based on insights gathered from years of collaboration with pro gamers, key control unlocks customization capabilities, allowing players to assign up to 15 functions per key. This level of customization ensures that critical keys are readily accessible, empowering gamers to execute essential commands with lightning-fast precision.

Brent Barry, head of esports and Pro Series at Logitech G, said in a statement, “This new capability has everything a Pro player could want: a compact, portable form factor, combined with advanced new technologies all designed to give them the equipment and performance they need to win.”

Logitech uses Lightspeed wireless tech in its new wireless keyboard.

The Pro X 60 also features Logitech G’s Lightspeed wireless technology, ensuring a reliable and ultra-fast connection even in the most challenging RF environments. Tested in state-of-the-art facilities, Lightspeed wireless guarantees minimal input lag, allowing pro players to perform at their peak without compromise.

Evan “Verhulst” Verhulst from TSM, Apex Legends, emphasized the importance of a fast and reliable connection in competitive gaming. He said in a statement, “Having a really fast wireless connection can be the difference between winning and losing at the highest level.”

Furthermore, the Pro X 60 is equipped with GX Optical switches, offering faster actuation and eliminating the debounce required by mechanical switches. With precision and speed, GX Optical switches ensure that every command is executed instantly, providing a seamless gaming experience.

Additional features of the Pro X 60 include dual-shot PBT keycaps, Lightsync RGB lighting, a game mode switch, volume roller, media controls, Bluetooth connectivity, and a semi-hard carrying case.

Available for pre-order in black, white, and pink variants, the Logitech G PRO X 60 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Keyboard is priced at $179. It will be out soon from major participating retailers in late April.
